Have you been searching for something bad? I mean, real bad. I mean, so bad that you and your friends can make fun of it? Well, this isn't the movie you're looking for if you're looking for something as simple-to-find as that.

Troll 2 isn't just something you and your friends can make fun of on some afternoon. No, Troll 2 is a phenomenon in terms of horribleness. That meaning, that instead of just being something that you and your friends can rag on about, you're going to find a whole world of people who are in the same boat as you, as this movie is so bad that an entire realm of cult-culture has formed around its... "badness."

Don't worry, you don't need to see Troll 1 before you see this. Because it has nothing to do with Troll 1. And I'm not just saying that in the same way Halloween III has nothing to do with 1 or 2, because at least that movie was sorta/kinda branded the same way. No, Troll 2 is literally a completely new movie that they thought was so bad, that they had to pretend that it was a sequel to some other movie entirely.

I don't want to actually tell you anything about this movie, other than you need to go into it knowing full-well that you're going into watching a film that's a masterpiece - just not in the manner you're used to. I promise that after you watch this movie, it WILL eventually come up in casual conversation again someday.

You simply have to watch it to understand.

A lot of people assume that if Will Ferrell is in a movie, he's gong to be playing his go-to silly character that you're accustomed to seeing in movies. Anyone who's ever seen Stranger than Fiction knows, though, that Will Ferrell has an incredible amount of range when it comes to actually acting. Everything Must Go is another example in which Ferrell demonstrates that he can't always be boxed into the same typecasting we've grown used to.

Everything Must Go is not a comedy. That being said, it's based in a form of truth that you can really connect to on a deep level, as long as you go into it not expecting to be laughing like you would at a typical Will Ferrell film.

In 'Everything Must Go,' Will Ferrell plays a relapsing alcoholic who has decided to live in his front yard. That's pretty much the entire plot of the movie. He's there, and there's an almost nihilistic tone to the theme. There's obviously growth as conflict arises, and therein we find the real depth of the movie.

If you're willing to be open-minded to seeing Will Ferrell break the mold and NOT play a crazy character, I absolutely recommend you give this movie a shot. Add it to your queue!

Donnie Darko is one of those movies where, no matter how many times you watch it, you'll have trouble completely understanding exactly what's going on.

But I see that as a good thing in a film, unless of course that film is Mulholland Drive (click here to see the comic that started it all!).

Anyway, I remember when Donnie Darko first started to become popular. It was awhile after the movie had hit theaters, and I was watching it on VHS (I think it was VHS) with my friends from high school. The movie finished and we each looked at each other and said, "Wait, what?"

I then took out a piece of paper and drew a diagram of what I thought had really taken place in the movie, and after I was done with it, I realized that this movie had an incredible amount of depth and reasoning to everything that took place.

The movie itself is about a boy who is having a lot of troubles in school and at home. He's dealing with a lot of issues, and in order to deal with it, he's lashing out in ways that are completely unexpected.

This movie, if you haven't guessed it by now, is a psychological thriller, so if you're not a fan of that type of movie, you're definitely going to want to stray away. If though, you ARE a fan of psychological thrillers, there's little to no chance you haven't seen this movie already, so this entire blog post is probably a waste of time.

Either way, I think you should watch this movie because it's one of my all-time favorites and it's amazing. The ending song captures the theme of the movie perfectly. Add it to your queue!
