Miramax and Netflix Deal: Officially Done

They've become "Facebook Official"
Awhile ago we mentioned within a blog post that Miramax and Netflix were close to reaching a deal that would involve putting lots and lots of Miramax movies on Netflix streaming.

Well, today we discovered that this deal has finally gone through, and that Miramax movies will officially be coming to Netflix!

From Netflix's press release, we discover that the selection of movies will be becoming available on Netflix streaming starting in June (yes, NEXT MONTH!).

Here are some of the examples of movies that Netflix has announced will become available on Netflix streaming very shortly:
Through this partnership, the Netflix library gains a variety of films which collectively have 284 Academy Award nominations, across 83 films, with 68 wins, including the Best Picture winners "The English Patient" and "Shakespeare in Love." Iconic titles such as "Bad Santa," "Chasing Amy," "Cinema Paradiso," "Clerks," "Cold Mountain," "From Dusk Till Dawn," "Good Will Hunting," "Kill Bill" Volumes I and II, "Muriel's Wedding," "The Piano," "Pulp Fiction," "Reindeer Games" and many of the "Halloween," "Scary Movie," "Scream" and "Spy Kids" movies will be available over time.
I'm pumped about this, and I know many of you will be too. Heck, I'm already excited to re-watch the Halloween movies instead of waiting around till October for them to be on TV again.
